Management
The ACCENT PRO 2000 (AP2K) Research team consists of Ph.D's, Senior research scientists and engineers together with a consistent number of university students, covering the entire range of activities from scientific research to experiment and prototype design and development, having a long R&D working experience, with good connections on the Romanian R&D market, being involved in over 20 high-tech projects developed in Romania and in western countries.

PhD in Physics, Senior research scientist and General Manager at ACCENT PRO 2000 S.R.L., has more than 30 years of experience in Research and development in the following domains:
- Research & Development of dual/multi-energy, diffraction and scattering techniques for getting the Zeff (Atomic effective number) and Density values in X and gamma ray Tomography and Radioscopy, with application in Security, Cores and minerals analysis, Industrial NDT
- Basic and applied research in 2D and 3D X and Gamma ray Industrial Computerized Tomography and Radioscopy
- Research, design and prototypes development of various types of computerized X and gamma rays Industrial Tomography and Digital Radiography Systems, with applications in NDT and Security domains
- R&D for airport baggage screening (X-ray radioscopy, tomography, backscattering, diffraction) devices;
- R&D of specialized algorithms and software packages for data acquisition, 2D & 3D tomograms reconstruction, data analysis and visualization in Tomography and Digital Radiography
- Additional experience in R & D companies management for:
- NDT and Computerized Technologies Laboratory ICPE as Head of Lab for more 12 years
- National R&D Institute for Electrical Engineering as Scientific Director for 2 years,
- ACCENT PRO 2000 Ltd as General Manager for the last 14 years
- European Community FP7 Projects Scientific Expert Evaluator
- The Johns Hopkins University-USA External Collaborator since 2000
- Project coordinator for more than 15 projects and partner in more than 13 projects financed by Romanian Ministry of Research, European Community or private companies
- SPIE Society member.
